Today is Tuesday. I started this post last Thursday, shortly after going to the dentist and finding out I needed two fillings. Not for the normal “you do know what floss is, right?” reasons, but because of decalcification, because of cystic fibrosis, because it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I wasn’t going to mention any of that, but then I did, because it’s my blog and if I don’t pointlessly rant on here at least twice a year, they take away my website.
None of that really has anything to do with anything. Other than my teeth. And even I barely care about my teeth, my impeccable hygiene notwithstanding.
Anyway, here are some writing teasers for you, in no particular order.
— Storybook Romance, flash fiction chapbook, forthcoming from Red Bird Chapbooks
— “Double or Nothing,” forthcoming from Shotgun Honey
— “Bed, Bath, and Oh, God, Run,” to be published by Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine in early 2014
— “Sandcastles Made of Salt,” accepted by Bone Parade for eventual publication
— “Starlight,” to be included in the Best of CommuterLit anthology due in September from CommuterLit
— Exponential Apocalypse 3: Subtitle Pending, out later this year one way or another
That’s about it, though; I’m not working on anything at the moment, even if I probably should be. I mean, there’s the proof of Storybook Romance to go through, and my “acceptance” of the Liebster “award” “bestowed” upon me by “Sawney Hatton” to “blog” about, but those aren’t really writing. I don’t know. I’m sure I’ll come up with something.
