First things first: I want to give a shout out to Jersey Devil Press for republishing my story, “Storybook Romance,” in their May installment, Issue 42. 42! I’m in there with some serious literary luminaries, including Ryan Werner and y.t. sumner, and you should definitely check it out.
Also, I’d like to apologize for using the phrase “shout out” earlier.
Anyway, to business. This weekend, Friday the 10th through Sunday the 12th, I’ll be at the Southwest Book Fiesta, sharing a table with my friend and fellow writer Annam Manthiram.
We will mostly be selling books, but we will also:
— have small things to give away, as well as a few bigger things to give away in a raffle.
— be presenting a panel about getting published in literary journals on Saturday, May 11th, at 4 p.m.
— be reading with DimeStories on the main stage, Sunday, May 12th, at 11 a.m.
The Southwest Book Fiesta is the second largest book fair ever held in New Mexico, and there’ll be hundreds of publishers and authors there. Also, a beer garden and food cooked by people who wrote cookbooks. And that’s the best kind of food.
